My Vaporesso GTX One Kit is not firing when I push the button
The other simple issue is that the battery is dead. This device uses a Type -C USB charging cable, so it shouldn’t take long to get it to a full charge.
My Vaporesso GTX One Kit is leaking
If your Vaporesso GTX One is leaking there are a few things that should be looked at in order to stop the leaking. Here are the most common issues that could cause your tank to leak.
A) Coil Missing or Misaligned: Sometimes from the factory the coil is not screwed in correctly to the tank. Remove the top of the tank and remove the coil by unscrewing counter clockwise and then re-install the coil ensuring it threads evenly.
B) Missing Coil O-Ring: Near the bottom of the coil there should be an O-ring – typically either white or blue depending on the coil. If this is missing, old/cracked, or not sitting tightly to the coil, it could cause e-liquid to leak from the bottom of the coil onto your battery. Ensure this coil is aligned properly on your coil when installing it into your tank.
B) Cracked glass: If your GTX One was dropped, or if it was in a pocket or purse that got bumped around a lot, it’s possible for the glass to have broken. Even if you do not see a crack, if the leak is coming from near the top, it is possible that the glass has been cracked. Glass can also crack in your Vaporesso GTX One if it is left below freezing temperatures for a period of time. It is important to never leave your vape in a car that’s freezing. The good news is that the GTX One comes with a second glass piece in the kit. You can remove the glass by unscrewing the top of the device and sliding the old glass out. *be careful if the glass is cracked to avoid pieces of glass cutting you!!*
C) Over Filling: Overfilling your tank is the most likely reason for it to leak. It’s best to leave a little bit of space at the top of your tank and not over-fill it.
D) Drawing Too Quickly: If you take very fast, hard draws off just about any vaping device, including the GTX One, your device can be prone to leaking. Vaping devices use the power of your inhale to pull e-liquid to the heating coils and mix with the vapour. If you pull very long and hard on the device it is possible for some e-liquid to be pulled into the airflow chambers. For all types of vaping, slow, long drags are recommended.
E) Device Sitting For Too Long: You should never store any vaping device filled with e-liquid. Over time the e-liquid will saturate your coil and begin to leak. If you are not planning on using your device for more then 24 hours be sure to empty all e-liquid.
F) Flying: The increased pressure of flying will make all vaping products leak; even the Vaporesso GTX One. It is best to empty all vaping devices before flying on a plane.
G) Over Heating: If you leave any vape in a vehicle in the summer, especially in direct sunlight, it could leak. Over heating the device can cause the e-liquid to expand pushing it out through the o-rings or through the airflow holes.
H) Freezing: Leaving your device in a vehicle or any area under the freezing temperature could cause it to leak. This is because some parts are plastic that can become brittle and are then susceptible to breaking under freezing temperatures. The ideal temperature for any vaping device is +10 to +25 degrees Celsius.
