The RPM 5 Pod System is the new addition to the RPM family. Offering a built-in 2000mAh battery and a massive 6.5ml pod, this ensures you are not having to stop your day to charge or fill the device. The SMOK RPM 5 uses a Type-C USB charging port to refill its battery quickly. This charging port is available just about anywhere, from computers, to game consoles, to televisions. This allows you to plug in your device just about anywhere! If you want to charge this in your car we have available car adapters for your use.
Convenient Replacement Cartridges
The RPM 5 uses affordable & convenient replacement pods that hold 6.5ml of your favourite e-liquid. Replacement cartridges are available in a 3 Packs, and are not colour specific so they can be used with any RPM 5 colour option.

Q: How long do the RPM 5 battery’s last?
A: This really depends on personal use. The SMOK RPM 5 has a built in 2000mAh lithium ion battery. If you are a casual vapour, the RPM 5 battery will last you close to a full day. If you are a heavy vapour, expect to charge the SMOK RPM 5 once through the day. The convenient Type-C charging port allows you to recharge your battery quickly just about anywhere!
Q: What is your warranty on the SMOK RPM 5?
A: As with all of our starter kits, the SMOK RPM 5 comes with a full 60 day warranty against manufacture defects. This warranty only begins when the product arrives to your door.  For any issues with your RPM 5, you may call us at 1-844-286-VAPE, or fill out a support ticket.  You can also contact SMOK support directly at support@smoktech.com.
Q: How often should I replace my RPM 5 Pod?
A: The life of your pod is determined by the frequency of use and the type of e-liquid used (i.e. PG vs VG ratio). Higher VG e-liquids may be thicker and therefore harder on the warming elements of the RPM 5. Based on the device specifications higher PG e-liquids, such as Canada Vapes E-liquid, or Nic Salts, would be ideal. When the user begins to experience leaking, reduction in flavor, and/or a reduction in vapor production. Simply replace the pod with a new one.
Q: Pods are new to me. What should I know?
A: No problem, everyone starts somewhere. Here are a few tips we hope you find helpful:
- Fill new & unused pod with e-liquid by pulling out the silicone stopper at the side-fill port. Be gentle.
- Only the indented bottom part of the stopper should be removed (Not the entire silicone stopper)
- Do not over fill the cartridge/pod. 80% full works best.
- Insert silicone stopper & set entire unit aside for several minutes to allow full saturation. This is will reduce likelihood of unpleasant ‘dry hits’.
- When reinserting the cartridge ensure pressure sensor inside the battery and the sensor hole on the pod are aligned on the same side
- Avoid allowing the pod to get to less than 20% full with e-liquid. This prevents the coil from drying out.

Broke as in cannot charge in a month. Second try. Originally I went Pro Rpm. Lasted 2 months. Goodbye Smok.

I have tried everything to fix it but it leak a lot. so i put it in a bag. the plastic on the pods started braking after 6 month and after one year it was good for garbage. Smok have a bad reputation

After 7 months of using it I would not recommend this vape to anyone, the flavor is really good, the air flow is great, the coils last à while and battery life is excellent BUT It leaks like crazy! I lose 1 to 3 ml of commercial juice daily! I do my own juices and it does not bother me too much cause I do them very thick (80vg and +) to help the leaking problem but If you’re not doing your own juice it’s gonna be expensive for you!
I wrote the company and this is the reply I got: “This is known issues with most vape products. It always seems that the coils that come with the kit are never as good as the ones purchased in a pack. Usually it is more common with coils that are already installed when opening the device. They are constantly changing designs in coils to make them less leak proof, but it is hard when you are dealing with liquid and seals trying to prevent the leak. Liquid will always try and find it’s way out of a crack.”
This is why I do not recommend this vape!

A nOObs two week in review of the Smok RPM 5. After two weeks and a couple burnt coils, I think I have hit upon the best prep method, coil selection and settings options if you’re a flavour chaser like myself.
As I’ve previously mentioned, I had some tank leakage issues, but this seems mitigated by lubing up the o-rings while you’re
pre-priming the coil before inserting it into the tank, which I have found is essential to great flavour and coil life. I also think that pushing the coil firmly into the tank while flipping the latch might also help. When filling the tank, leaving a bit of headroom also seems to help.
The biggest reason I bought this device is because where I live we are limited to a 2ml capacity max. I didn’t want to be always carrying a bottle of juice with me to top up so I didn’t burn a coil. After hitting upon my nirvana settings, I can’t be happier with my RPM 5 ! The size is a perfect fit for your hand and allows you to be discrete and stealthy when you want. Battery life is quite good unless you’re on the .15 ohm coil with the wattage punched up blowing huge clouds ! I’m currently using the .23 ohm coil at 30 watts and easily get a full day of vaping in without having to recharge, which does take about 90 minutes from almost dead. The only downside to this unit is no draw to fire, but no big deal, it’s a button push ! I do like 3 presses to lock the fire button so you don’t have misfires, rather than having to turn it completely off.
I’m hoping to help keep fellow nOObs from making all of MY mistakes, so here are some base settings for this device. I use the .23 ohm coil which is currently detected as .27 ohm. FULLY PRIME YOUR COIL before installing it !! The .23 ohm coil is good for 20 to 45 watts, so after doing a proper prime of the coil, start at 20 watts, cuz different flavours present at different temps. I stepped up 2 watts at a time, giving at least 30 seconds for the cotton to resoak before trying the next setting. Currently I’m at 30 watts, with the airflow slider half open, using either Banana Bang or Juiced Up 6mg freebase 70VG 30PG Strawberry Kiwi flavour, doing about 3 to 4 second DTL draws, and it has absolutely awesome flavour. Not a crazy amount of cloud, but great flavour. If you go with the .15 ohm coil, which is rated 40 to 80 watts, using the same juice at 40 watts gives almost zero flavour, but great clouds. Going up 2 watts at a time up to 56 watts still netted me squat for flavour, great clouds, and a burnt coil ! The burnt coil may have been my fault from not priming properly or not allowing the cotton to resoak with juice ! My bad ! Haha !
I really hope this helps people with what to expect from this device, because it really is a hella nice unit !
Sidenote – DO NOT attempt to do nic salts in this device unless you WANT to feel sick and hack your brains out ! Again for me, it was live and learn !

Very nice device ! The only thing it doesn’t do, which would be nice if it did, is draw to fire. Other than that, it has some weight, shape feels good and it looks and functions nicely. Takes about an hour to charge from almost dead.
