The UWELL Caliburn Air is a lightweight refillable pod system designed around simplicity, portability, and the newest generation of UWELL’s G Pod Platform. At just 39 g, it is one of the lightest Caliburn devices, yet still carries a 1000 mAh built-in battery, dual output modes, adjustable airflow, and compatibility with GPP cartridges.

The Caliburn Air is also completely button-free during normal use. Fill the pod, insert it, adjust the airflow, and inhale to activate.

Lightweight Design

The name “Air” reflects the main design philosophy of this model. UWELL has kept the body extremely light while retaining the best functionality.

At only 39 g, the Caliburn Air is easy to carry and noticeably lighter than many battery-heavy pod systems. The body is made using lightweight materials and maintains the familiar slim Caliburn profile rather than moving toward a large box-style format.

GPP Alpha Cartridge

The GPP Alpha Cartridge is the most important upgrade on the Caliburn Air.

UWELL states that the Alpha cartridge is engineered for greater flavour stability and extended lifespan. Its internal testing references more than 50 mL of e-liquid before replacement under controlled conditions.

The mouthpiece has also been updated with a soft-touch TPU material, giving the contact surface a softer feel than a conventional rigid cartridge mouthpiece.

The Alpha cartridge also includes an updated leak-resistant structure intended to keep daily use cleaner.

WAVES And STORM Modes

The Caliburn Air offers two distinct output modes:

WAVES Mode

WAVES is the smoother of the two settings. It is intended for a more even, balanced output.

STORM Mode

STORM gives the device a stronger and more immediate output characteristic.

Rather than requiring a button or menu, UWELL uses a clever cartridge gesture. Quickly remove and reinsert the cartridge twice to switch between the two modes.

This gives users some control over how the device behaves while preserving the simple button-free design.

Adjustable Airflow

Airflow adjustment is equally straightforward.

The Caliburn Air uses the cartridge orientation to alter airflow. Flip the pod around to change the amount of incoming air.

This provides a choice between a tighter, more concentrated inhale and a somewhat more open draw without adding a separate mechanical airflow slider.

GPP Cartridge Compatibility

The Caliburn Air is not restricted to the included Alpha cartridge.

UWELL states that all cartridges in its G Pod Platform are compatible with Caliburn GPP-series devices. Both top-refill and side-refill GPP cartridge styles are represented within the platform.

Common GPP resistance options include:

• 0.4Ω
• 0.6Ω
• 0.9Ω
• 1.2Ω

This gives users room to change the draw and output characteristics without replacing the device itself.

How To Use The Caliburn Air

1. Remove the cartridge from the device.
2. Fill the cartridge through its designated filling port.
3. Allow a new cartridge time to saturate before first use.
4. Insert the pod into the device.
5. Flip the cartridge orientation if you want to change airflow.
6. Inhale through the mouthpiece to activate the device.
7. Quickly remove and insert the cartridge twice to switch between WAVES and STORM modes.
