Always remember things are manufactured. Not all are made the same.
The first one I purchased, I put it through hell. I dropped it all over. I took a couple chips out of it. it lasted 4 months of that constant abuse.
I bought another for my wife. It lasted 2 months and just stopped working. Would take a charge but no screen, lights and the action button don’t connect. We will buy them again.

Really like this one I’ve been using it about a month and need new coils I ordered the ones recommended here that it says uses vaporesso gtx coils and it definitely does not use them they are way to short and the seals are in the wrong places do not order them expecting them to work in the luxe xr now I have this nice vape and new juice but no coils to use them with …..

The unit is great but I’m not a fan of the pod. I really like the battery life, the size of the pod, and the coil options. If messy isn’t an issue for you then I would recommend it. My issue with this kit is the design of the pod system and how messy refilling the pods can be. I won’t buy it again for the inconvenience and will find a pod with a refilling system that has a spring-loaded closure like one of the Caliburn systems since I’m on the move a lot.

The mod itself is good, however the pods leak. Both of them leak. I purchased two more pods separately and they leak as well. That’s four pods that leak from the sides, or the bottom, or both. If you want to waste precious juice and have to clean up a mess constantly, then this kit is for you.

I like the device but there is been an issue with the coils, .2 coils leaked too much the device might have got some liquid in it which I am afraid of. Then I switch to .4 coil pod which is so tight I can’t draw any vape from it. Don’t know if I was the unlucky one who got the faulty pods.

Works good, only used the 0.2 coil so far. Great flavor, battery lasts a while. The only thing I don’t like is there should be a trigger lock so it can’t go off in your pocket.

I use the Luxe XR Max on a daily basis, and I agree with you! Luckily the clicky button makes it easy to turn off. However, I do agree, it should have a lock of some sort.

Purchased it as a possible replacement for another mod that wasn’t behaving like I wanted it to.
Wears its’ name well – it feels like a fancy vape. Great flavor, great ease of use, although either mine shipped with 2 DTL pods, or the difference between DTL and MTL is the orientation in which you put it. With a DTL pod/orientation and the vent fully open, it’s got incredible air flow, and the chip that drives the coil is pretty good.
Battery life is about as expected, though it does stay at 100% for a surprisingly long time before dropping off rapidy.
The shape of the pod is super comfortable, and they’re pretty easy to refill and replace the coil. (Make sure to empty it before switching coils though – half of the pull tube is a seal against the pod, so it can and will spill everywhere if it’s more than like, 10% full).
The only way this mod could be better is if Vaporesso came out with a 510 adapter to make it last past the point where pods and coils are no longer made, assuming the next generation of coils is incompatible with it.
It’s never had any spitback at me, either – nothing but smooth pulls from this device, making it a strong competitor even against box mods like the CoolFire Z80.
