I bought this one given the amount of references to Du Maurier, as I have used “Du Maurice / Du More” juice in the past. They have a light, almost coconut smell & taste which is highly pleasant (not actually at all like tobacco).
This Red Ultra is not like that at all. It’s really very nutty, and therefore quite dry. I am not saying this is a bad flavour, but just be warned if you buy this based on the Du Maurice / Du More juice (that may just be available in Quebec anyway).

After 40 years of smoking and now 8 weeks into vaping instead . . . this one really hit the mark! It reminds me of the first time I ever opened a pack of smokes and tried it (Du Maurier Special Mild – back in the day!). Love this one, but just starting the bottle – may run bland after a few weeks but plan to keep it as my new “base” and add something to it like the “Castlewood” which may have a more smooth vanilla/caramel flavour. The other reviews that say it tastes more like a cigarette is correct….I found the same! It’s a winner for me. Thanks, CV, for concocting this one!!!

This is the flavour I chose for my first try at Vaping to eliminate tobacco smoking. *It worked!* To me its a subtle sweetish flavour that reminds me of the smell of opening a new package. I’m not into sweets and gimmicks and I’m not intending to do vaping for entertainment – I just wanted off tobacco without loosing my attention span/focus, and I was worried that "flavours" would just annoy me with aftertastes and so on, but no issues with this – its subtle enough not to bother me at all. In hindsight I think it helped with the whole process.

First time using e-cigs, and this is the first flavour of any kind that I’m trying. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I thought I’d start with a tobacco flavoured product, to more simulate smoking a real cigarette. The flavour is really, really smooth and pleasant. Honestly, I would say it has a hint of a caramelish after-taste to it, which is a good thing. I realized that I didn’t need to replicate the "smoking" experience as a result of the flavour. I will try other flavours as well, but that does not mean this particular product is not enjoyable. I would recommend this flavour to any 1st time e-cig users, like myself.

Tried this one on my 510 with the SR Cart. I’ve smoked Du Maurier Light/Distinct cigarettes for over 20 years and find this to be a great take on the flavour in e-juice form. Had my last Du Maurier the same day I tried this liquid and found the e-juice flavour more enjoyable! Really does smell like a freshly opened pack. The flavour and throat hit are solid at the 16mg level, you can really taste the sweet, fragrant Virginia tobacco throughout the vape. I’m more into the fruit and sweet flavours for vaping through the day but this is my flavour choice before bed and when I’m I have a strong smoke craving. I have Player’s and RY4 liquid that I haven’t tried yet but I’m sure this one will remain my favourite tobacco liquid.

To me it taste nothing like DuMaurier or tobacco. But I suppose no juice would be able to recreate the same flavor as a real cigarette. Flavor is sweet/spicy. 24mg is a bit too strong for me.

I had been looking without luck for that unburned fresh tobacco flavor for over 18 months, and nothing ever came closer than this! In that timeframe I must have gone through a couple dozen different so-called "tobacco" flavors from allegedly good vendors, some of which even claimed it to be organic extracts from real tobacco, and yet none of those tasted or smelled like true unburned tobacco, – only like that stinky ashtray at best.
But this juice just rocks! I love every bit about it and don’t even want to go looking for anything else. It is now my choice for all-day vaping.
The only thing – I wish it was available in 18mg strength as the 24mg one packs a serious throat hit, and one wouldn’t want to affect the flavor by mixing it with another weaker juice.
But overall, – great stuff!

Others are right when they say this liquid 12mg tastes like an unlit cigarette which is amazing. It is slightly harsh but when mixed with Canadian Smooth it tastes pretty good.
