EVERY CHILD MATTERS: NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION

Canada Vapes stands in solidarity with truth and reconciliation.

At Canada Vapes, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting initiatives that promote healing, reconciliation, and justice.

In honor of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we will be donating 10% of our proceeds from Friday September 29th at 5pm to Midnight October 1st to Reconciliation Canada.

Reconciliation Canada plays a vital role in engaging Canadians in dialogue and transformative experiences that revitalize the relationships among Indigenous peoples and all Canadians. Reconciliation Canada has delivered a series of Reconciliation Dialogue Workshops across Canada, hosted events during Reconciliation Week in September 2013, including the Walk for Reconciliation engaging 70,000 people in Downtown Vancouver, and co-hosted events in Ottawa and Vancouver to coincide with the closing of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.

Our decision to support Reconciliation Canada is driven by the knowledge that healing and reconciliation are ongoing processes, and as a responsible member of the Canadian community, we want to contribute to this vital journey. We are deeply moved by the heart-wrenching discoveries at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School site, a stark reminder of the atrocities committed against Indigenous communities.

To join us in making a difference, we invite our valued community to show their support by making a direct contribution to Reconciliation Canada. Every gesture, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to acknowledging the painful past and building a brighter future together.

As we reflect on the significance of this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we hope that our collective efforts can contribute to healing the wounds of the past and strengthening the bonds of unity, understanding, and respect among all Canadians. We are reaching out to our valued community and requesting you to  join us in honoring the survivors, remembering the lost children, and paving the way for a more inclusive and compassionate future for Canada. Thank you for standing with us in this important endeavor.
